Waveny LifeCare Network hires Christene Freedman as their Chief Advancement Officer

NEW  CANAAN,  Conn.  –  March  29, 2021  –  Waveny  LifeCare  Network  has  hired  Christene Freedman as their Chief Advancement Officer.

Ms. Freedman brings with her nearly fifteen years of professional experience in developing and implementing   advancement   programs,   cultivating   corporate   and   foundation   partnerships, stewarding  major  gift  donors,  marketing  and  communications.  She  has  worked  with  several Connecticut-based non-profit organizations in her advancement career. Ms. Freedman holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs with an option in World Environmental Problems from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. She is also currently a member of Rotary International.

In her role prior to joining Waveny LifeCare Network, Ms. Freedman held the position of Chief Development Officer for Riverbrook Regional YMCA  where she provided staff leadership for a capital campaign, grew special event revenues, and secured significant grant funding.
