Waveny LifeCare Network COVID-19 Daily Update
for Residents, Patients, and Families

We look forward to the upcoming week, and are energized by the opportunity to care for, engage, and digilently support the needs of our patients and residents.

We also want to acknowledge feedback received from several of our families that expressed feeling - on one hand - bombarded by COVID- 19 news media coverage generally and - on the other - informed and appreciative of the Waveny daily updates. To that end, it is our highest priority to provide you with the most responsive and purposeful information. Thank you for your continued patience and support.

We continue to closely monitor our patients and residents and apply the most qualified observation, intervention and testing methods as directed by the CDC, DPH, local health authorities and our Medical Director.

Aggregate data can be found at: https://www.waveny.org/daily-statistics

The Village
There is no change in resident status to report today from our Memory/Dementia Care community.

Care Center
We are pleased to welcome back one patient from the hospital who tested positive for COVID-19, they are now resting comfortably. Sadly, a COVID-positive Care Center patient who was on hospice succumbed to the disease and passed away last night. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to their family at this extraordinarily sad and trying time.
