Waveny LifeCare Network COVID-19 Daily Update

for Residents, Patients, and Families

It wasn’t too long ago that the COVID-19 pandemic was an unexpected shock to all of us. As a community we have adapted with more heightened awareness and protective measures. As an organization, more is expected. As such, we continue to apply the highest operating and clinical standards to anticipate what could develop as the crisis unfolds.

Our top priority is to closely monitor and promote our Patients’ and Residents’ well-being and recovery. We will continue to rigorously apply qualified preventive care, safety and screening protocols to protect our Patients and Residents, and communicate those actions to our families transparently and responsively.

As mentioned, given those in our care tend to be at higher risk for developing more serious COVID-19 complications due to underlying co-morbidities, we will continue to increase targeted diagnostic COVID-19 testing of Patients and Residents as more test kits become available.

Waveny’s aggregate data can be found at: waveny.org/daily-statistics
