Waveny LifeCare Network COVID-19 Daily Update
for Residents, Patients, and Families

Amid more reports Tri-state economies are gradually reopening and easing COVID-19 operating restrictions, (Yale-New Haven resumption of elective surgeries, Hartford mall, and New Jersey beach reopenings, etc.), Waveny LifeCare Network is instead, intensifying our rigorous preventive, testing, and continuity of care protocols for each individual Patient, Resident, and Staff member.

The momentum of negative nasopharyngeal swab (PCR) results coupled with improved Immunoglobulin G (serum antibody (IgG) test clusters, further supports our continued efforts.

Waveny’s aggregate data can be found at: waveny.org/daily-statistics

Comments:

The impact of fewer coronavirus documented cases will not change our resolve. We recognize the extraordinary burden this places on our families. We deeply appreciate your continued support and shared commitment to overcome this challenge.

We continue to collaborate with local hospitals, public health authorities, clinicians and other key stakeholders to protect our Patients and Residents, as we increase our testing efforts and track individual recuperative signs, and promote better clinical outcomes.

Your nursing supervisor will have specific medical details on your family member. Please continue to reach out to them on clinical issues, and to me on non-clinical issues or questions.
