Waveny LifeCare Network COVID-19 Daily Update
for Residents, Patients, and Families

We would like to thank our families, clinical partners and broader community for their ongoing collaboration and support. Our concerted effort, combined with our daily enforcement of stringent clinical safety, care, recovery, and testing standards is helping us minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

We continue to take extensive measures to support the health and wellness of our residents including: proactive preventive and diagnostic care of Patients and Residents, vigilant sanitary maintenance of our community thorough weekly cleanings by emergency restoration company SERVPRO, continuous staff screening prior to each shift, sending any employee home to await test results if they show symptoms of illness, mandated  use of Personal Protective Equipment by all Village, Care Center, Inn and Home Care staff while at work, and close compliance with CDC, DPH and local health authorities operating  directives.

We greatly appreciate the tremendous insight and cooperation being displayed by all parties, especially our families, as we fulfill our mission to protect the health and safety of our Residents, Patients and Caregivers.

Please continue to keep each other in your thoughts and prayers, and know that every day, we are working as diligently as possible to earn your continued patience and support. Our community is most grateful.

Your nursing supervisor will have specific medical details on your family member. Please continue to reach out to them on clinical issues, to me on non-clinical issues, and to our organization with your ongoing feedback, concerns or questions.
